There are several Hoodia plant species that is said to have some degree of appetite suppressant in them, but ONLY the Hoodia Gordonii is the most potent and much sought after one. Hence, there are many inferior products out there. Hoodia products made from pulpy leaf, 20:1, 10:1 extracts or concentrates, have minimal effect, not only because it so diluted, but because all the other supporting ingredients, such as Aloe and other medicinal properties have been stripped away that makes Hoodia what it is. Processing kills any live living cells remaining in naturally dried Hoodia and in where the potency lie. A good Hoodia product need to last longer than in between meals where 2 capsules per meal need to taken.
